A chronicle of conquest, glory, and the making of a crowned world.
In every age, the first truth of war is written after the last standard falls. The defeated remember smoke, grief, and retreat. The victorious remember banners, vows, and destiny.
This archive does not claim innocence. It preserves the words that survived.
A kingdom is not made by a crown alone. It is made by those who kneel before it, those who die beneath it, and those who insist the story could never have ended any other way.
Before the frontiers hardened into borders, there was only a board of disputed ground. Every village claimed old protection. Every house claimed older blood.
Then came the players who no longer asked where the lines had been drawn.
The chronicles name the battle cleanly. They call it inevitable, decisive, merciful. The field reports were less poetic, but none of those clerks were invited to author history.
In the capital, they carved the names of commanders into bright stone. In the borderlands, families carved different names into doorframes, hoping memory would protect what law had not.
No victory is accepted until it is repeated. No ruler is beloved until the witnesses learn which version of the tale will be rewarded.
Further histories will be restored as more conditions are met: certain opponents defeated, certain burdens accepted, and certain impossible endings made real on the board.
The archive waits for another result. Bring it a victory, and it will decide what you are allowed to remember.
