Hypercarry Chess allows users to upload and customise images, audio, and other cosmetic assets for personalisation purposes.

By using the custom asset features, you agree to the following terms:

1. User-provided content

Any custom images, audio, skins, piece sets, board textures, or other assets uploaded through the customisation system are provided by users, not by Hypercarry Chess.

Hypercarry Chess does not claim ownership of user-uploaded assets and does not endorse, verify, or approve them by default.

2. Your rights to uploaded assets

You must only upload assets that you own, created yourself, have permission to use, or are otherwise legally allowed to upload and share.

This includes, but is not limited to, official artwork, screenshots, sprites, character renders, music tracks, sound effects, promotional images, edited official assets, or assets copied from other creators without permission.

3. Public sharing

If you choose to share a custom skin, piece set, board design, audio set, or other custom asset publicly, you confirm that you have the right to publicly share every asset included in that upload.

Publicly shared assets may be visible to other users through features such as View Others, shared links, galleries, previews, or multiplayer-related customisation features.

You are responsible for ensuring that your shared assets do not infringe copyright, trade marks, personality rights, privacy rights, or any other third-party rights.

4. No misleading association

You must not upload or share assets in a way that falsely suggests that Hypercarry Chess is officially associated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any third-party franchise, company, creator, artist, game, anime, manga, film, brand, or rights holder.

You must not use names, descriptions, tags, or titles that imply official endorsement or official availability of third-party intellectual property.

5. Removal and availability of assets

Hypercarry Chess may hide, remove, disable, restrict, or delete any uploaded or shared asset at any time, especially if:

• it appears to infringe third-party rights;
• it is reported by another user or rights holder;
• it violates these terms;
• it creates legal, safety, moderation, or project risk;
• it is inappropriate for the community or public gallery;
• or it otherwise affects the operation or reputation of Hypercarry Chess.

Hypercarry Chess is not required to provide advance notice before removing or restricting access to uploaded or shared assets.

Custom asset features, shared skins, public galleries, previews, and View Others features may be changed, restricted, disabled, or removed at any time.

Hypercarry Chess does not guarantee that any uploaded or shared asset will remain available permanently.

6. Reports and takedowns

If you believe that a shared asset infringes your rights or violates these terms, please contact [your contact email / report form] with the relevant details.

Reports should include, where possible:

• the asset, skin, or post being reported;
• the reason for the report;
• proof or explanation of ownership, if applicable;
• and contact details for follow-up.

Hypercarry Chess may remove or disable access to reported content while reviewing the issue.

7. Repeat misuse

Users who repeatedly upload or share infringing, misleading, inappropriate, or unauthorised assets may have their custom asset sharing restricted, disabled, or removed.

8. Agreement

By continuing to use the custom asset features, you confirm that you have read and understood these Custom Asset Terms and agree to follow them.
